Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

To provide and maintain the App, we collect limited information from Shopify stores that install StoreRx, including:

• Store name and store URL
• Shopify account information necessary for app functionality, such as the access token Shopify issues to the App
• Product, collection and image information read from your store to run scans, such as titles, descriptions, SEO fields and image details
• The content of the public storefront pages StoreRx scans
• Scan results, scores, recommendations and copy drafted at your request
• App settings you provide, such as a brand voice sample and, if you choose to add it, your storefront password
• Plan, subscription status and usage of the App

StoreRx is installed with read-only access to your store. If you choose to have StoreRx apply copy you have approved, Shopify asks you to grant it permission to edit products and files, and StoreRx then changes only the item you approve. We do not read, collect or store your customers' personal information or order data, and we do not collect, store, or process payment information.

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide and maintain the App's functionality
• Scan your store, calculate scores and track issues between scans
• Explain the issues found and draft copy you request
• Apply drafted copy to your store when you approve it, and undo it if you ask
• Apply plan limits and manage billing through Shopify
• Improve app performance and reliability
• Provide customer care and support
• Monitor usage and troubleshoot technical issues
• Communicate important updates regarding the App

3. Data Sharing

Node Agency LLC does not sell merchant data to third parties. Your information may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

4. Shopify Platform Requirements

StoreRx operates within the Shopify ecosystem. Certain information may be shared with Shopify as required by Shopify's Partner Program Agreement and API Terms. Any information processed by Shopify is subject to Shopify's own privacy policies and practices.

5. Data Security

The security of your data is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as necessary to provide the App and comply with legal obligations. After you uninstall the App, the data we store for your shop is deleted when we receive Shopify's shop data erasure request, which Shopify sends 48 hours after uninstallation, unless retention is required by law.

7. Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party services, which process information solely for the purpose of operating the App:

• OpenAI — to explain the issues found and to draft copy you request. Details of the issue or product, and for alt text the product image, are sent for this purpose.
• Google PageSpeed Insights — to measure the loading speed of your public storefront. Your storefront URL is sent for this purpose.
• Hosting and database providers — to run the App and store its data.

8. Children's Privacy

StoreRx does not address anyone under the age of 18 ("Children"). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 18.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
